Yes, Terra Verde Resort is a gated community. Our gate is manned 24/7. You must have a gate pass or permission from an owner, guest or member of staff to enter our resort. All persons entering our resort must present a government-issued photo id.


Each property owner has their own access procedures for their property, so please ensure you have all you need before setting off on your journey. Prior to arrival, you should receive a reservation confirmation from your host and you will need to present this along with photo ID at the gate to gain entry to the resort. Within 24 hours of your arrival, you must register with the front desk in the Clubhouse.  On check-in you will receive current resort information and on registering your vehicle(s), a Gate Pass for the resort fast entry lane will be issued for each vehicle, for which a fee of $25 per card will be payable. The card(s) will be good for the duration of your stay.  All homes in Terra Verde Resort are individually owned and operated.  Our front desk cannot hold keys or arrange access to your rental property, so please contact the owner or their representative if you require assistance.

The resort clubhouse offers all guests free wifi. Please check with your vacation rental provider to inquire about the wifi in the home you are staying in.

Terra Verde Resort has a large variety of amenities for guests and owner use. Please click here for more information. Use of the amenities is free for guests and owners, with the exception of the coin operated games room. Sports equipment borrowed from the clubhouse requires a small refundable cash deposit

The main resort lake is regularly stocked with Bluegill, Redear Sunfish, Gambusia, Largemouth Bass and Channel Catfish. Our policy of “catch and release” is strictly enforced.

Yes, the Terra Verde Tiki Bar and Grill is located poolside for the exclusive use of Terra Verde Resort guests. Open daily 11am to 9pm. Hours may vary based on events and weather Click here for more!

Each home in Terra Verde Resort is privately owned and operated but our website does offer a booking inquiry platform for the exclusive use of our owners. Many owners also have their own booking websites, rent through their management company and/or list on many platforms, some subject to a “traveler fee”. Terra Verde Resort makes no warranties, assurances or representations regarding the ownership, management company, quality or condition of properties.

Each home is individually owned and operated, so in case of difficulty, please contact the owner or management company you originally booked with. Terra Verde Resort is not responsible for, does not guarantee nor get involved in any vacation rental bookings.

There is a 4 car parking limit for guests staying in detached single-family homes and a 2 car limit for those staying in a townhome. Any vehicles above these limits must be parked in free spaces adjacent to the clubhouse. RVs, trailers and commercial vehicles are not allowed to be parked on the resort overnight.

Please call or text the gate house in advance, with the name of your visitors and please remind whoever is coming to the resort that they must have photo ID to enter. Food deliveries will be allowed entry on showing confirmation of order and photo ID. The clubhouse will accept packages delivered by private delivery services such as UPS, FedEx and Amazon and these will be held for 14 days before being returned to sender. USPS mail and packages are not accepted or held at the clubhouse.

Yes, Terra Verde Resort was built as a short term/vacation rental community, with rentals limited to a maximum of 120 days. It is one of the few resort communities in the central Florida area with a primary focus on vacation rental homes and investment properties. 

 

Owners do live onsite full time but as owner-occupancy numbers are limited, if it is your intention to purchase a home as your primary residence, please contact our General Manager before writing an offer to ensure availability.
